Ive just recently fixed the ratteling noise under my car. It is a 1996 Honda Accord LX coupe,
and it was making a rattelling noise as i accelerated. Another time that the noise occured was around 3,000 to 3,500
rpm. I looked under the car to see what the noise was. About in the middle of the front wheels, there is a pipe leading
straight out of the engine. I believe that the pipe is made to send the emissions from the engine into the catalytic
converter, and then into the muffler.
Not far from where the pipe comes out, there is a plate covering the pipe. The plate somehow
got bent up and was actually touching the pipe, and when the vibrations from the engine would get more intense, the ratteling
would come in. I simply pried the plate a little bit away from the tube, and it fixed the ratteling noise. If you have any
